Yes, sir. Though with the way things are going, I expect our two families to be too distracted picking fights with each other to think about bothering Yiling Ridge. It seems like they've been more than happy to blame each other for all the disappearances lately.

It's not that he doesn't trust Nines - he's just already an extremely overprotective person when it comes to people dependent on him, and he's just been put more and more on edge with all of the goings-on here lately. He's trying desperately to maintain a feeling of comfort and safety in the apartment, but it is Hard.]

[ 9S has cake that I forgot to mention earlier but HERE IT IS, IT'S CAKE!! He holds it high as Bennett comes flooding in. The boy splats against 9S's leg for an excited octopus hug before heeding Wei Wuxian's command and going to sit with Bianca. Bianca herself is too cool for school, but at least it doesn't look like she's one step away from stabbing 9S anymore, so he'll take it. ]
